Personal statement

I am a practicing artist and postgraduate student at the Royal College of Art with a strong commitment to inclusive, creative education. With a background in figurative painting and a BFA from the National Art School in Sydney, I bring both academic rigour and a hands-on, empathetic approach to the classroom. I believe in the power of visual learning and creative thinking to support diverse learners and encourage confidence, curiosity, and self-expression. My experience leading workshops and supporting students in creative environments has deepened my interest in education, particularly in SEN and cross-disciplinary learning. I am now seeking to build on this foundation through classroom-based experience and further teacher training.
