Curriculum Area Lead – Employability & Life Skills

As a key member of the Inclusive Learning Team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of provision for all learners with a recognised special educational need or disability, you will provide effective leadership and coordination within the Inclusive Learning Team for the Employability and Life Skills (ELS) staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for all learners leading to high and improving success rates. The post holder will have particular responsibility for improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and the monitoring and tracking of course performance within the ELS provision.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual, who will be innovative and forward-thinking, an excellent communicator with the ability to sustain a culture of high performance amongst our students and staff. 

To support the Inclusvie Learning Manager by leading high quality provision for all students in the ELS curriculum. This will be achieved by line managing Lecturers within the designated area to ensure high performance and an exceptional student experience. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, that results in students gaining key academic and employability skills that will support them in achieving their next steps into employment or continued education. You will be highly organised, a creative problem-solver with the ability to motivate and inspire the team towards our college vision.
