LTE Group has an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Department as a Finance Business Partner on a fixed term (Maternity Cover), full-time (37 hours per week) basis. Based out of our Openshaw campus in Manchester.

Finance Business Partner overview
To provide a customer focused, proactive and responsive range of quality financial and commercial support and guidance to support a range of internal and external finance service users, particularly Department budget holders on behalf of the Finance Service. The individual will be responsible for providing expert financial advice to budget holders and identified members of the Group senior leadership team, and their management teams in all aspects of financial performance and regulation. The technical specialist role will work closely with the Senior Business Partner and Divisional Finance Directors with responsibility for production and analysis of monthly performance against budget, reforecasting in-year, annual budget and ad hoc analysis. Through this work the Business Partner will provide revenue assurance and proactively suggest and support measures to achieve LTE budgets. Working independently with the Business Unit Management the Business Partner will be their main advisor and point of contact in finance. The Business Partner will work collaboratively across LTE Group to ensure effective financial management and financial control is maintained. The individual will always ensure compliance with LTE Group Financial Regulations and Procedures and maintain a pro-active and diligent approach to fraud awareness.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Working towards a financial qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA).
- Level 2 English and Maths.
- Part qualified – CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA.
- Familiarity with Agresso / Business World or comparable complex finance system.
- Experience of operating in a large complex accounting. environment with proven and demonstrable technical skills.
- Experience of maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems.
- Experience in a Business Partner role, supporting Budget Holders with Management.
- Accounts, Budgets and other financial issues.
- Experience of working with non-financial specialist to develop budgets and forecasts to challenging deadlines.
- Experience of supporting non finance specialists to utilize their allocated financial resources to obtain best value for money.
- High degree of analytical and problem solving experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous work experience ln a finance role.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and knowledge of financial IT systems.
- Good excel skills (Developing spreadsheets, knowledge of formula and audit requirements, handling large volumes of data).
- Good team player.
- Questioning and constructive challenge approach to work.
- Organisational skills.
