Foundation Living Wage £12.60 per hour (Actual salary £9,977)

Lytham Saint Annes High School (LSA) is looking for a Welfare Assistant to join our dedicated team and help us create a safe and positive environment for our students. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning by assisting with the security, welfare and good conduct of students during the break and lunchtime periods. 

This role is about more than just supervision; it’s about being a supportive presence during break and lunchtime, ensuring students feel secure and happy. You will work closely with our team to manage student queues, promote school policies, and encourage positive behavior, all while helping to keep the school environment clean and tidy.

This is a permanent part-time position for 17.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 10:40a.m. to 2:40p.m. during term time. The successful candidate will work to a rota, with duties both inside and outside the school building. You’ll play a vital part in our school community by assisting with the management of students and collaborating with the catering team to ensure a positive dining experience.
