Are you an experienced professional in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning looking to inspire the next generation of engineers? DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality work-based learning programmes, support apprentices, and contribute to curriculum development in this vital sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your industry expertise with a passion for education, working closely with learners and employers to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and assess work-based learning in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting their progress and wellbeing.

Conduct health and safety monitoring visits and ensure employer risk assessments are in place.

Support curriculum development and contribute to bespoke training solutions.

Maintain accurate learner tracking and assessment records in line with college and GDPR requirements.

Essential Criteria:

Recognised qualifications in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferably gained via an apprenticeship).

F-Gas Category 1 qualification.

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Practical industry experience in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.

Ability to motivate and inspire apprentices, with strong communication and organisational skills.
