Distance Learning Coordinator

Capel Manor College, London’s environmental college, is seeking a dedicated Distance Learning Coordinator to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Distance Learning provision.

In this exciting new role, you will ensure that learners have an outstanding experience from their first enquiry through to achievement. You’ll coordinate onboarding and enrolment, monitor learner engagement, and implement timely interventions to maximise success. Working with awarding bodies, quality teams, MIS, and curriculum leads, you’ll ensure compliance, accurate records, and the smooth delivery of programmes.

You will line manage a team of Distance Learning Assessors, overseeing timely marking, high-quality feedback, and adherence to quality standards. You’ll also play a key role in developing and launching new courses in collaboration with system partners and curriculum teams.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Level 3 Assessor and Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.

• Has experience coordinating distance learning or similar provision.

• Is confident managing a team to achieve performance and quality targets.

• Understands awarding body and quality assurance requirements.

• Has strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication skills.
