Location: Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £29,870 and £39,696 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term – Full Time – Fixed until 08 November 2026
About the role:
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Coordinator to join our Student Services department at The Bedford College Group.
As an Enterprise Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Careers Network Leadership – Build and manage relationships between schools/colleges and Enterprise Advisers, ensuring impactful careers education aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks.
- School & College Support – Coordinate meetings, track progress, and support institutions in self-assessing and improving their careers programmes using CEC tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy – Act as a CEC ambassador, engage local stakeholders, contribute to regional skills strategies, and stay informed on best practices and legislation.
- Compliance & College-Wide Duties – Ensure safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards are upheld; support TBCG-wide activities including open days, exams, and disciplinary processes.
- Professional Conduct & Development – Represent TBCG internally and externally, contribute to strategic initiatives, and proactively engage in training and continuous improvement.
About you:
- Qualifications & Sector Knowledge – Degree in a relevant business subject or equivalent experience, with strong understanding of school culture, careers education, and CSR landscapes.
- Policy & Employment Insight – Awareness of local/national skills and economic development policies, and the barriers young people and employers face in accessing work experience.
- Programme & Stakeholder Management – Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder projects, with a background in stakeholder engagement and communication across varied audiences.
- Skills & Attributes – Excellent communication, organisation, and strategic planning skills; resilient, adaptable, and proactive in managing competing priorities and driving performance.
- Digital Proficiency & Continuous Improvement – Competent in using IT and social media platforms to enhance network impact, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
