About the Role

You will be responsible for teaching and assessing across a range of health and social care programmes, contributing to curriculum planning and course management. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, support student progression, and maintain high standards of academic quality and pastoral care.

This role is part time, working 26 hours per week.

Work pattern: 8:30am-5pm Mon-Weds, 8:30am-12pm

The actual salary: £23, 794.03 – £30,177.52

Essential Criteria

A relevant degree qualification in Health and Social Care.

GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.

Experience or knowledge of working in a health and social care setting.

Innovative and effective teaching skills, with the ability to motivate learners.

Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching and tutorials across health and social care qualifications.

Support student progression and achievement through effective planning and assessment.

Implement inclusive and creative teaching strategies using emerging technologies.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and assessments.

Liaise with course teams, support staff and parents/carers to ensure learner success.

Contribute to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety practices.

Participate in promotional events, parents’ evenings and cover classes as required.

Engage in continuous professional development and curriculum innovation.
