0.7 Lecturer in Floristry

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Floristry to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Floristry courses.

Our School of Floristry offers a wide range of courses ranging from the Level 1 Foundation Diploma in Floristry through to the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry.   It also runs a number of short workshops throughout the year including a floral tablescape design workshop, floral design expression workshops, winter wreath and table decor workshop.

We are now looking for an experienced Florist to join the team to teach on our Floristry courses.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for floristry and for teaching and sharing their experience and knowledge.  They will provide high quality teaching on the College’s Floristry courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught.  This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students. 

We welcome applications with experience in teaching and have had floristry industry experience with a passion to sharing these skills and knowledge with others.  If you are an enthusiastic individual with the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students and if you are able to impart knowledge and develop understanding that promotes a love of learning and develops intellectual curiosity, we want to hear from you.
