We are seeking an experienced Programmer Leader to drive innovation and excellence within our engineering team. You will lead by example, combining hands-on programming expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software engineering, system design, and leading agile development practices. We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Engineering Digital and Management Department as a Programme Leader Engineering on a fixed term (Until the 30th June 2026), part time (17.5 hours per week) basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Degree
- Current and valid industry specialism
- Certificate of education or PGCE
- English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above
- Proven track record of effective teaching in delivering in subject specialism or current valid industry
- specialism
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience or minimum of 3 years current valid industry specialism
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of leading a team
- Proven experience of working as a team
- Proven track record of achieving delivery targets and plans
- Accurate and timely reports and records
- Positive contribution to planning & development processes
- High quality positive learner satisfaction.
