Overview
Reaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year. Our staff and students have access to leading edge facilities including an Equestrian Centre, competition arenas, solarium and equissage. In particular, our Equestrian Centre boasts of carefully designed modern yards, including American barn-style stabling, which accommodates over 60 horses.
About the role
As Equine Events Assistant, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering full-cost and commercial equine events. Working closely with the Events Coordinator and wider team, you’ll ensure high standards of service, contribute to income generation, and uphold our PRIDE values.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of equine events and activities.
- Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Promote events to enhance the Reaseheath brand and meet income targets.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure equipment and resources are used effectively and safely.
- Contribute to new income streams and support Riding Club activities.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and college policies.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or have equivalent industry experience.
- Have GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English.
- Demonstrate strong IT and customer service skills.
- Have experience in the equine industry, particularly in event coordination.
- Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.

Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
