Are you ready to inspire the next generation of construction professionals? We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Built Environment to join our dynamic Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of T Level construction courses and help shape the future of the built environment sector.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of further and higher education programmes, with a focus on T Level construction. The role includes curriculum development, assessment, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Actual Salary: £13, 727.32 – £17,375.49 per annum
Working Pattern: Wednesday & Thursday 8:30am – 17:00pm (15 hours per week)
Essential Criteria
HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management or relevant industry experience.
A demonstratable experience in a lecturing or training role within Further or Higher Education.
Strong subject expertise to enhance the quality of taught programmes.
Knowledge and experience of innovative learning and teaching techniques.
Understanding of education/training initiatives and ability to use ICT as a teaching tool
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons and assess student work across Built Environment programmes.
Develop curriculum materials and contribute to subject area development.
Coordinate course teams and support the day-to-day running of programmes.
Support learners through mentoring, guidance, and individualised learning plans.
Participate in course verification, quality assurance, and departmental planning.
Recruit and enrol students, meeting enrolment targets.
Undertake professional development and contribute to the College’s appraisal system.
