DN Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Further Education Director to lead our Digital, Creative and Visual Arts curriculum. This is a strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives on driving excellence, inspiring teams, and shaping the future of further education.
About the Role
You will provide strategic leadership and direction across curriculum areas, ensuring high standards, outstanding teaching and learning, and a responsive curriculum that meets the needs of students, employers, and the wider community. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, influencing college-wide priorities and contributing to the delivery of our strategic plan.
Essential Criteria
Significant experience in a substantial management position within a Further Education environment.
Proven success in leading and managing teaching and support staff teams.
Demonstrable experience of curriculum innovation and improvement.
Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and data analysis.
Qualified to Level 5 or equivalent, with curriculum knowledge in at least one relevant area (particularly Digital).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage curriculum areas to ensure a high-quality, coherent and relevant offer.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment.
Set and achieve ambitious targets for student outcomes and progression.
Embed English and Maths across the curriculum and promote achievement.
Ensure effective quality assurance and improvement processes.
Represent the College externally and build strategic partnerships.
Lead business planning, resource management and budget control.
Develop and support managers to lead high-performing teams.
Promote a culture of inclusion, equality, and safeguarding across all areas.
