About the job
We are inviting applications for members of an advisory panel to the Festival of Education UK. The post is for a two-year term, renewable once, with the purpose of making the Festival of Education UK even better.
The advisory panel will help the Festival organisers to:
- Ensure the content is as strong and relevant as possible for people working across the education sector – schools, colleges, HE institutions, training providers and more.
- Draw on expertise from a wide range of fields and take an expansive approach to education when curating the programme.
- Raise the profile of the Festival of Education and bring awareness to new audiences.
What we ask of you:
- Online judging of a selection of submissions in December each year (approx. 3 hours).
- Attendance at up to two online meetings (max. 1.5 hours each).
- Attendance at one in-person meeting on the afternoon of January 8th(half a day) to review the shortlist of speaker applications.
- A willingness to engage with the Festival team on an ad-hoc basis to advise on the Festival content strategy.
