York College & University Centre is the largest further education college in the region, offering a comprehensive range of courses from Entry Level to degree level. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a high-impact role, central to delivering our vision of helping students, apprentices, staff and communities thrive.

The COO will lead across key operational areas including finance, estates, IT, MIS, Health & Safety and catering. You will ensure these services are efficient, future-focused and aligned with our academic and strategic ambitions.

We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a strong track record in corporate services, financial and risk management, and delivering high-performing, customer-focused teams. You will be values-driven, resilient and committed to continuous improvement.
