About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll lead the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and engaging candidates to coordinating comprehensive safer recruitment checks and supporting hiring managers through a thorough and compliant selection process. You’ll be recruiting for roles within the Further Education (FE) sector, supporting a diverse and vibrant college group. While experience in education recruitment is beneficial, it’s not essential—we welcome applications from professionals with transferable recruitment expertise and a passion for making a difference in education. This role requires someone confident working independently, using their initiative, while also being a supportive and collaborative team player.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future talent needs

Source candidates via job boards, social media, and direct outreach

Lead employer branding efforts through events, campaigns, and webinars

Maintain accurate records using Networx ATS

Create and manage targeted recruitment campaigns

Analyse recruitment data and report on ROI

Champion EDI and Safeguarding best practices

Build and nurture a talent pipeline, including passive candidates

Provide excellent candidate experience and support throughout the process

Coordinate and ensure compliance with safer recruitment checks and procedures

What We’re Looking For

Degree in HR or relevant experience

Experience in full-cycle recruitment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of ATS systems and recruitment marketing tools

Creative problem-solver with a passion for securing top talent

Knowledge of Talent Acquisition tools and trends
