Are you passionate about shaping the future of the plumbing and gas industry? Doncaster College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing and Gas Lecturer to join our Construction department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of tradespeople and contribute to a thriving curriculum area.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment across apprenticeship standards and further education courses. You’ll also lead on curriculum development, manage classroom environments, and support learners in achieving their full potential.
Essential Criteria
Professional technical qualification at Level 3 or above, or a relevant degree
Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
Substantial industrial experience in plumbing and gas
Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons and assess learners across FE and apprenticeship programmes
Develop curriculum materials and contribute to subject area innovation
Lead and coordinate course teams to ensure effective programme delivery
Support learners through coaching, mentoring, and guidance
Participate in recruitment, enrolment, and quality assurance processes
