The Examiner Responsible / Deputy Examiner Responsible works closely with the Subject Manager to provide effective, reliable and continuous support of all assessment activities within a subject. The role demands the commitment of an experienced education leader with a strong background in the required subject specialism. The role holder will be involved in the authoring and marking of examination papers for students studying at 18 years of age during the IB May examination session.

This position is part-time, involves no relocation and is usually undertaken in addition to existing work commitments. The majority of the work can be undertaken online via the IB’s secure systems.

You must:

• have a degree or equivalent in the subject (or a related subject) for which you are applying,
• have a minimum of one years’ experience teaching the subject (or a related subject) for which they are applying to students of 16 to 18 years of age (DP),
• have a detailed, up-to-date knowledge of the subject for which they are applying,
• be native speakers/fluent in the language of the course for which they are applying,
• have the ability to communicate, read documents and write reports in English.
