The Opportunity

You’ll lead the delivery of our annual Turing Scheme, helping our students access inspiring international experiences that support both their learning and personal growth. You’ll take charge of planning and coordinating overseas placements, making sure every trip is safe, well-organised and aligned with our policies. Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll work closely with internal teams and global partners to ensure each opportunity runs smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll oversee every stage of the process – from initial planning and logistics through to evaluation and reporting. Careful budget management will be a key part of your role, along with keeping accurate records and ensuring full compliance with the Turing Scheme’s requirements. Your ability to build strong relationships and manage projects effectively will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for our learners.

Working with curriculum leads, you’ll help identify students who will benefit most from international placements, making sure everyone has equal access to these valuable opportunities. You’ll also organise pre-departure briefings and post-trip debriefs, ensuring our students are fully prepared, supported and able to make the most of their experience abroad. You’ll manage all aspects of risk assessment, safeguarding, travel and insurance to ensure every trip is safe and well-executed.

If you’re someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about creating opportunities for young people, this could be a great opportunity for you to make a real impact.

About You

You’ll need to be a well-organised and proactive individual with a strong background in managing international projects for young people. You’ll have hands-on experience of delivering Erasmus+, Turing, or similar programmes and a solid understanding of the logistics, compliance, and safeguarding considerations involved in overseas mobility schemes.

You’ll be confident in managing and developing strong internal and external partnerships, working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Your experience in budget management will be essential, and you’ll be comfortable handling and interpreting data to support accurate financial and project reporting.

Strong organisation is key, and you’ll bring a clear and thorough communication style—both verbal and written. You’ll have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with meticulous attention to detail, especially when it comes to preparing written documents and reports. Your ability to collaborate within a complex structure will be important, as you’ll be working closely with curriculum teams, safeguarding leads, finance colleagues, and international partners.

You’ll need to be fully competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams and internet-based tools. Managing multiple priorities, responding to challenges and meeting deadlines will be part of your daily routine, and you’ll do all of this while keeping the student experience at the heart of your work.

Most importantly, you’ll be driven by the opportunity to create life-changing experiences for young people, and you’ll take pride in delivering well-structured, safe, and meaningful international opportunities.
