Fixed Term Contract until July 2026 (Maternity Cover), Full Time
Here at South Thames Colleges Group, we are seeking an ALS Administrator to be responsible for entering specialised data onto the Inclusive Learning Support database and to manage related ALS quality audit processes and systems.
Facilitating the effective management of sensitive learner information, as well as monitoring and updating the department’s Inboxes, you’ll be responsible for all learner support administrative and financial activities and you’ll provide a range of administrative support functions to the Commissioning Manager.
We’re looking for someone who is educated to GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Maths. You’ll have experience of managing administrative and financial activities in a busy office environment, including being able to work with and record for budgets effectively and responsibly. With a proven ability to develop and manage quality audit processes and systems and to organise, manage and coordinate the collection and collation of large quantities of data, you’ll be able to work under pressure, with a high degree of accuracy and to strict deadlines.
You’ll be able to develop and maintain an extensive internal and external network of partners with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with a full range of staff and external partners, both on a one-to-one basis and as a member of a team. With a high level of computer literacy, including a high standard of spreadsheet skills, as well as a good standard of word processing and database, you’ll have experience of working effectively with centrally established and computerised systems, able to produce comprehensive reports for a variety of audiences.
This post requires cross College working but is predominantly at Merton College.
