We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Feltham, working as a Learning Support Worker. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information

HMP Feltham operates as both a Young Offender Institution (YOI) and a juvenile prison. It accommodates male offenders who have been remanded in custody or sentenced. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society. It is situated within commuting distance of Middlesex, the M3 corridor, Berkshire and Surrey areas.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Hidden Difficulties Level 2 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
• To hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
• Achievement of performance targets
• Accurate and timely reporting
• Positive team working
