About the Role

The RNN Group is looking for a motivated and pro-active individual to be part of a team of staff assisting in the delivery of a full range of finance department activities.

As Deputy Management Accountant you will assist Management Accounts with a set list of monthly journals, produce the subsidiary monthly management accounts and forecasts, prepare and distribute monthly budget holder reports, liaise with budget holders to ensure that forecasting is kept up to date and undertake investigatory work where required.

You will also support with monthly payroll checks/reconciliations, assist with the preparation of the Group’s cash flow and cash flow forecasts and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

 

Financial stability is one of the key focuses in our 5 point strategic plan and the Deputy Management Accountant will work closely with members of the finance team to ensure that the Group achieves outstanding results for students through sound financial strategy and practice.

 

 

You will…

have experience working within a similar role controlling management accounts and the production of journals. You will be part CCAB qualified, or equivalent (or working towards) and possess high-level financial planning/budgeting skills.

 

You will possess English and Maths at level 2 or above (equivalent to GCSE A-C/4-9) and have well-developed IT skills.

 

You will be able to work in an organised and methodical manner, with a high degree of confidentiality, integrity and flexibility.

 

 

Department Info

You will report to the Senior Management Accountant, who will give you direction on your day-to-day workload and will also work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Budget Holders along with members of CMT, SLT and ELT.
