About the Role
As our Group Executive Director of People Services, you will be a key strategic leader, developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns directly with our organisational goals. Reporting to the CEO/Principal, you will oversee all aspects of people services, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, organisational development, mental health, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support our strategic priorities.
- Talent Acquisition: Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, and developing innovative recruiting strategies.
- Employee Relations: Building and maintaining strong employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Organisational Development: Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through engagement, training and development programs, and succession planning.
- Leadership & Team Development: Leading, motivating and developing our People Services team.
- Inclusion & Diversity: Playing a lead role in inclusion and diversity initiatives, supporting well-being, EDI, and other programs to develop staff.
- Financial Responsibility: Developing and managing all HR budgets, ensuring value for money and return on investment, and working with the finance team to model pay costs.
You’ll be a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, championing values-based, compassionate, inclusive, and innovative leadership throughout the Group , and deputising for the CEO/Principal in key meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Member or Fellow of the CIPD or other relevant professional body, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a depth of HR and Organisational Development expertise.
- A proven track record in building and leading high-performing HR teams and delivering high-impact HR programs.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organisational goals.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing people strategies that drive business results.
- Extensive experience in change management, organisational development, and employee relations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR decisions and present at Board level.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive leaders and all stakeholders.
