Are you passionate about media, digital creativity, and inspiring the next generation of content creators? We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Creative Media Lecturer to join our Digital Technologies team and help shape the future of learners in further education.
About the Role
As a Creative Media Lecturer, you’ll deliver engaging and innovative teaching across a range of FE programmes. You’ll support learners in developing their skills in media production, graphics, and digital tools, while contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance.
* Actual Salary: £19,103.51 – £24,904.87 per annum
* Working hours: 21.5 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Essential Criteria
We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, professionalism, and a learner-centred approach. You must have:
A relevant degree or Level 3 qualification in Creative Media or a related subject.
A teaching qualification or substantial industry experience (or be working towards a teaching qualification).
Experience of innovative teaching and learning techniques.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and media graphics.
Understanding of curriculum development and the use of ICT in teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching across Creative Media programmes.
Develop engaging learning materials and assess student work.
Contribute to curriculum planning, course leadership, and quality assurance.
Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression.
Participate in departmental planning, CPD, and performance review processes.
