Lecturer – Electrical

Calderdale College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our outstanding Electrical department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver outstanding teaching and assessment on our Level 1 and Level 2 Electrical Installation Study Programmes. Due to continued growth in learner numbers, we are expanding our team to meet demand and maintain our high standards. Industry experience as a qualified electrician is highly beneficial and will support the delivery of our qualifications in a practical, real-world context.

We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable, learner-focused, and has a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching with excellent achievement rates. You will play a key role in supporting our learners’ development through engaging, innovative, and inclusive approaches to learning.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, innovative, and creative individual with the ability to inspire and motivate students. You will demonstrate determination and drive to achieve excellence in all aspects of the role, contributing to the continued success of the department and the wider College.
