Specialist Technician Science

Join The Manchester College as a Specialist Technician (Science) and play a vital role in supporting outstanding science education. We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Sport Public Services & Care Professions Department as a Specialist Technician (Science) on a permanent, part time (17.5 hours per week) basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Level 2 English & Mathematics
• Industry relevant qualification as applicable by specialist function
• First Aid qualification (or be prepared to work towards within first year)
• Specific relevant industry experience
• Specific relevant specialist skill
• Ideally lab science background
• Ability to work as a team or individually
• Working to deadlines
