Lecturer – Sustainability

Calderdale College are recruiting for a Lecturer – Sustainability.

The main focus of this role to teach sustainability qualifications including carbon literacy and championing sustainability in the workplace as well as drive the College Planet strategic priority. The role will develop and deliver learning programmes within the college, to SMEs and other organisations. You will be responsible for ensuring achievement of high standards in teaching and learning, completion rates and attainment level. You will be helping create a culture of environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the college and wider community and be responsible for helping raise awareness on climate change, biodiversity and how we can live and work more environmentally friendly and more sustainably.

The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and committed to developing our learner knowledge and skills across a number of levels showing inspiring, creative and well-planned teaching. The candidate must be able to show enthusiasm and a passion for the subject and be committed to making a vibrant contribution to the department.
