Lecturer – Teacher Education

Job Details
Calderdale College is seeking to appoint a Lecturer of Teacher Education.
The main focus of this role is school and working with children focused provision, including special educational needs and disability, supporting teaching and learning in schoolsqualifications and outreach work. The role will develop and deliver learning programmes on teacher education and SEND courses mostly through Free Course for Jobs adult provision. You will be responsible for ensuring achievement of high standards in teaching and learning, completion rates and attainment level. You will be developing and enhancing parents/ carers, teaching assistants, people working with children and young people and teachers knowledge of supporting children, young people and adults.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and committed to developing our learner knowledge and skills across a number of levels showing inspiring, creative and well-planned teaching. The candidate must be able to show enthusiasm and a passion for the subject and be committed to making a vibrant contribution to the department.
