Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of learners with additional needs? We’re looking for a caring, proactive and flexible individual to join our dedicated Additional Learning Support team. As an Additional Learning Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, encouraging independence, and supporting their academic and personal development.

We are recruiting for multiple vacancies at either Doncaster College or North Lindsey College (Scunthorpe)

Working hours: 9am – 4pm (days to be agreed)

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Good written and oral communication skills at GCSE level (or willingness to work towards them)

Experience working with students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

The ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Understanding of the diverse needs of learners experiencing difficulties

A professional, team-oriented approach with strong organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

Provide tailored support to learners across college sites, including personal care where required

Contribute to activities that promote participation, retention, and achievement

Support access arrangements for exams and contribute to student support planning

Liaise with tutors and support staff to meet individual learner needs

Maintain accurate records and complete relevant administrative tasks
