Salary: £48,500 – £53,005 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) *This salary is effective from 01/08/25*

About the Role
The Maths department is central to the priorities of Coventry College and its ambition to be the College of choice for learners and employers in the region. The department currently offers a range of programmes in this area, with Functional Skills, GCSE and Level 3 Core maths provided for adult learners.
The department is also responsible for delivering Maths across programmes of study where a formal qualification is required as a condition of funding. For most learners, this is a GCSE programme, but for a small group of learners, Functional Skills or Stepping Stone qualifications are provided.
Due to career progression, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a dynamic individual to lead the Maths provision as a Curriculum Manager. The successful individual will be passionate about the subject and have the proven ability to inspire students and support staff in delivering high quality maths provision. They will be a key member of the College leadership group, and will work with cross college staff to ensure the Maths curriculum meets the needs of all learners.
Requirements
Must-Have:
• Have a relevant Higher qualification
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Maths and Level 2 in English
• Hold a teaching Qualification
• Provide evidence of continuing professional development
• Have an up-to-date understanding of Maths qualifications and innovative teaching and learning strategies
Nice-to-Have:
• Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes
