We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and friendly Office Administrator to join our supportive team at Chantry Academy. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s administrative functions, supporting both staff and students.

Location: Chantry Academy
Contract: Permanent
Hours:37 hours per week
Weeks:40 weeks per year (39 term-time weeks, 5 PD days, and 1 week in school holidays)
Salary: ALT Grade D points 8-11 – £22,298.32 – £22,827.97 – Annually Actual
Closing Date: 9:00am, Friday 18th July 2025
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support including word processing, data handling, and use of various IT systems
- Acting as a first point of contact for visitors and enquiries
- Supporting attendance and personnel administration, including DBS checks
- Assisting with marketing materials, meeting organisation, and general office coordination
- Contributing to school finance, including budget tracking and handling cash where required
We are looking for someone who:
- Is proficient with a range of IT packages and administrative systems
- Is able to work in an office environment
- Is First Aid trained or willing to undertake training
- Embodies the values of The Active Learning Trust and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
