In this role you will be promoting positive attendance and behaviour at Halesowen College. 

As a dedicated Engagement and Support Officer you will join our committed and student-focused team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and analysing student attendance and behaviour data, supporting those at risk of disengagement, and working closely with staff, parents/guardians, and on occasions external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. 

An understanding of mental health and safeguarding would be beneficial along with experience of working with young people in education, youth work, or social care setting.  A confident communicator, able to engage with students, families, and professionals as well as having strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
