Location: Kingsfield Primary School | Salary: ALT Grade F | Actual Salary: £21,167.54 – £22,583.12
Contract Type: Permanent | Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Kingsfield Primary School, part of the Active Learning Trust.

🧠 What You’ll Do:

• Deliver planned learning activities for pupils with complex needs, in collaboration with the SENDCo

• Support and contribute to EHCPs and personalised learning plans

• Provide tailored support that helps vulnerable learners thrive

• Assist with personal care, emotional wellbeing, and social development

• Help maintain a stimulating, inclusive learning environment

• Take the lead on small group teaching and short-term class cover

💡 What You’ll Need:

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a related field

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting

• Strong knowledge of positive behaviour management

• Confidence using ICT to support learning

• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

• A calm, professional, and empathetic approach — with a sense of humour!
