Location: Kingsfield Primary School | Salary: ALT Grade F | Actual Salary: £21,167.54 – £22,583.12
Contract Type: Permanent | Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Kingsfield Primary School, part of the Active Learning Trust.
🧠 What You’ll Do:
Deliver planned learning activities for pupils with complex needs, in collaboration with the SENDCo
Support and contribute to EHCPs and personalised learning plans
Provide tailored support that helps vulnerable learners thrive
Assist with personal care, emotional wellbeing, and social development
Help maintain a stimulating, inclusive learning environment
Take the lead on small group teaching and short-term class cover
💡 What You’ll Need:
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a related field
Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
Strong knowledge of positive behaviour management
Confidence using ICT to support learning
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
A calm, professional, and empathetic approach — with a sense of humour!
