Essential Criteria
A Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of relevant curriculum and qualification frameworks.
Proven teaching ability or potential to deliver outstanding lessons.
Full UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across Electrical Engineering and Green Energy programmes.
Act as Programme Tutor, supporting a caseload of full-time and/or part-time students.
Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, and progress tracking documents.
Embrace and implement new learning technologies to enhance the student experience.
Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and progress, providing timely interventions.
Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enrich curriculum content and student employability.
Support recruitment activities such as Open Days and Information Events.
Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and self-assessment processes.
Promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding in all aspects of teaching and learning.
