We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Key Stage 3 (KS3) SEND Teacher, working with students who have complex moderate learning difficulties. While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, we also welcome applications from Early Career Teachers who are willing to train and demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education.

This role involves delivering tailored lessons to small groups or individual learners, helping to support their academic progress alongside their social, emotional, and personal development. While experience in a special school is preferred, it is not essential, and we welcome applications from teachers with a genuine interest in inclusive education. Part-time working will also be considered.

The successful candidate will use inclusive strategies such as Trauma-Informed Practice and Conscious Discipline to support behaviour and engagement in learning. You will play an important role in developing individual learning plans, collaborating with families, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure each pupil’s needs are met. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to the wider school community through the planning of activities, managing support staff within the classroom, and taking part in ongoing school development initiatives.

We offer a wide range of staff benefits including:

  • Membership into Teachers Pension Scheme

  • Family friendly policies and flexible working

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme

  • Employee wellbeing initiatives

  • Free parking

  • Canteen

  • Company events

  • Access to various memberships and discount schemes

  • Learning and development opportunities, including staff development days

  • Funded subject course development for your role

  • Range of staff communities, including EDI and neurodiverse communities

  • Career progression opportunities
