Salary/Benefits: Salary is £12.21 per hour
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Sessional – Hourly Paid
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Registry Enrolment Assistant to join our Student Data department at The Bedford College Group.
As a Registry Enrolment Assistant, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Enrolment Support – Accurately carry out student enrolment and data entry tasks using the College’s student database.
- Data Management – Update student records, run reports, and assist with ID card printing and distribution.
- Event Assistance – Help prepare for and support face-to-face enrolment hub events throughout the enrolment period.
- Team Collaboration – Provide administrative support to the Registry Team, ensuring smooth processing of enrolment data.
- Safeguarding & Flexibility – Promote the welfare of students in line with College policies and be available for the full enrolment period, including potential extended hours.
About you:
- Qualifications & IT Skills – Holds 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade 4 or above) and is confident using Microsoft Office and related applications.
- Communication & Teamwork – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Organisation & Adaptability – Well-organised, able to manage tasks in a busy environment, meet short deadlines, and adapt to changing work demands.
- Customer Service & Support – Welcoming and supportive to students and staff, with a professional and approachable manner in all interactions.
- Safeguarding & Practical Readiness – Committed to safeguarding responsibilities, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and capable of performing light manual handling tasks.
