DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated HE Lecturer to join our Children’s Learning and Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-quality student experience across our university campuses in Doncaster and Scunthorpe.

About the Role

As a Lecturer in Higher Education, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative teaching on our Children’s Learning and Development programmes. You’ll also support curriculum planning, lead on programme documentation, and contribute to quality assurance processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to student success.

This is a fixed term part time role until 18/12/2025

Actual Salary: £19,992.04 – £26,063.23 per annum

Working Hours: 22. 5 Hours per week

Essential Criteria

We’re looking for someone who can bring the following to the role:

A degree in a relevant subject

Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy

Current experience working within an education environment

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the sector

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching on HE programmes in Children’s Learning and Development

Contribute to curriculum planning and programme development

Lead on the completion of programme documentation and quality assurance reports

Monitor student progress and support retention, achievement, and progression

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the student experience

Participate in university committees, exam boards, and external examiner liaison

Support student engagement activities and recruitment events

Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards
