  • Oversee and develop pastoral care, behaviour and safeguarding systems to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all pupils.

  • Take the lead on safeguarding and child protection, including policy oversight and compliance.

  • Contribute to staff development, performance management, and professional learning across the school.

  • Teach a class (as required by the school), modelling outstanding classroom practice and driving excellence in teaching and learning.

  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to support children’s progress and wellbeing.

    What we are looking for:

    • A committed, experienced leader with proven success in a senior school leadership role.

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong teaching background and excellent classroom practice.

    • In-depth understanding and experience of SEND provision and the SEND Code of Practice (2015).

    • A track record of driving school improvement, particularly in teaching, learning, and curriculum development.

    • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

    • Ability to inspire, challenge, and support colleagues and build strong working relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider community.

    • A reflective and solution-focused mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

      • Access to Teacher Pensions
      • A vibrant and welcoming school community where children are at the heart of everything we do.
      • A supportive leadership team and trust network committed to your development and success.
