Hairdressing Apprenticeship Tutor

Collinge & Co Training are looking to recruit a part-time Hairdressing Apprenticeship Tutor.

Collinge & Co Training is a work based training provider based in Liverpool providing apprenticeships to apprentices based in over 100 salons
throughout the North West.

Collinge & Co Training Tutors are commercially confident and competent hairstylists, who have teaching experience and knowledge of both on-line learning and classroom teaching practices. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering the Hairdressing Professional and the Advanced & Creative Hair Professional curriculums to groups of eight or ten apprentices.

Working days are 8 hours, 8:45 to 17:15.

Our preference is to employ a tutor that can work as a stylist within a Collinge & Co Salon one to three days a week, so that their salon craft is kept up-to-date and they are aware of Collinge & Co practices and techniques. More information can be given at interview

There is the opportunity for the new tutor recruit to complete a teaching qualification (a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training) with the cost paid for by the company (if staying in employment with the company, more details can be provided). Whilst studying towards the teaching qualification, the new recruit would receive support, work shadowing & mentoring, and reduced teaching hours.
