This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspirational leader. St John’s is a one form entry primary school with nursery, set within a large traditional Victorian building in Camberwell – a good school providing excellent educational experiences for the children and families we serve. As a small school we know every child and can fulfil our aim to help each of them be the best they can be. We are looking to appoint an excellent practitioner who:

  • has successful experience in a senior leadership role and a proven track record of leading whole school improvement
  • will promote positive relationships with parents, carers and our extended school community
  • will fully support the Christian ethos of our school

Shortlisting: shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Friday 4th July 2025

Interviews: week commencing 7th July 2025. The interview process will involve a number of tasks, including but not limited to: leading an act of collective worship, a pupil engagement task, observing a lesson and an unseen presentation. Tasks may be altered as a result of the shortlisting process.

Start date: September 2025
