Deputy Headteacher

St John’s is a one form entry primary school with nursery, set within a large traditional Victorian building in Camberwell – a good school providing excellent educational experiences for the children and families we serve. As a small school we know every child and can fulfil our aim to help each of them be the best they can be. • has successful experience in a senior leadership role and a proven track record of leading whole school improvement
• will promote positive relationships with parents, carers and our extended school community
• will fully support the Christian ethos of our school

Shortlisting: shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Friday 4th July 2025

Interviews: week commencing 7th July 2025. The interview process will involve a number of tasks, including but not limited to: leading an act of collective worship, a pupil engagement task, observing a lesson and an unseen presentation. Tasks may be altered as a result of the shortlisting process.

Start date: September 2025
