Lecturer 16 to 19 ESOL
Job Details
We require an hourly paid ESOL Lecturer to teach on our 16 – 19 ESOL programmes including ESOL City and Guilds qualifications, English and Personal Development. This role is based at our Blossomfield Campus.
You will be experienced in successfully delivering entry level ESOL English, entry level Personal and Social Development and tutorials to 16 – 19 year old ESOL learners. The post will require you to act as a personal tutor and to support students with significant personal difficulties and low skills levels to improve their confidence, language and readiness for next steps.
Possessing extensive experience of working with challenging and or traumatised young people, you will have excellent communication, IT, number and behaviour management skills, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
You must have an ESOL teaching qualification, or be prepared to work towards one, in order to deliver all programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately achievement. You will be an excellent administrator, well organised and able to meet deadlines.
