We are looking to appoint a dynamic and proactive professional to lead on securing impactful work experience and T Level extended placement opportunities for learners in the Built Environment. This role will be central to strengthening the College’s relationships with employers and ensuring our students gain real-world experience that supports their future careers.  The position is based at our Blossomfield Campus within the Built Environment team. 

 

This is a key outward-facing role focused on employer engagement and relationship building. You will work closely with industry partners to source and secure high-quality placements aligned with curriculum goals and student aspirations. Your ability to initiate, develop and maintain partnerships with a wide range of employers will be critical to ensuring our learners benefit from meaningful, career-enhancing experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and engage with new and existing employers, particularly those in the construction and built environment sectors, to create placement opportunities.
Develop long-term partnerships that align with the College’s strategic goals and employer needs.
Match students to suitable placements and ensure all requirements around safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance are met.
Act as the primary liaison between employers and the College, ensuring strong communication and positive outcomes for all parties.
Accurately track and report on placement activity, student progress, and employer feedback.

What We’re Looking For

A Level 3 qualification or above.
Proven experience in employer engagement, business development, recruitment, or partnership management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective employer relationships.
Excellent administration, organisation, and digital literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A confident communicator with the ability to represent the College professionally in all settings.
