Salary: £32,040 to £35,179 per annum. Plus generous benefits including:

About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities? As our Funding & Data Compliance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Additional Learning Support function. You will:
•    Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of administrative support staff.
•    Data Mastery: Ensure accurate recording and utilisation of student data to inform teaching, learning, and support practices.
•    Strategic Analysis: Provide detailed analysis, trend information, and financial reporting to support decision-making.
•    Resource Optimisation: Support the efficient use of resources to enhance student outcomes.

About the Person
You are a dynamic leader with:
•    Expert Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and related legislation.
•    Funding Savvy: Familiarity with student funding mechanisms, including the Adult Skills Fund and Advanced Learner Loan Bursary.
•    Tech Skills: Proficiency in complex ICT and data handling.
•    Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing, mentoring, and supporting staff.
•    Calm Under Pressure: Ability to work methodically and accurately under strict deadlines.
•    Qualifications: Higher-level qualification in Data, Analysis, Systems, Software, IT, or a related field.

About the College
We are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us. 

Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways. We are the largest provider of A-Level and vocational programmes for school leavers in the region; we offer nearly 35 A-Level subjects and over 80 vocational courses, including a wide range of T-Level pathways.

We are proud to be part of a consortium of colleges and employers developing the Yorkshire and Humber Institute of Technology (IoT), designed to increase higher level technical skills for employers.
