About the role
In line with our growth and investment strategy, we have a fantastic new opportunity within the College for an Education Partnership Manager!
This role has the potential to make a mark within the community, connecting with external education partners to support the delivery of their curriculum through providing curricula activities at Reaseheath College, whilst simultaneously broadening student awareness of careers within the land-based sector.
The core purpose of this position is to engage and develop education partners across the region, driving new initiatives which not only benefit the College, but at their heart, add value to the education partners and their students educational experience. By focusing on the government agenda, the Education Partnership Manager can support educational partners to piece together the link between their curriculum and career prospects, and as a result work towards a unified goal underlining why education is so important.
In addition, through providing curricula activities at Reaseheath College, a key objective of the position will be to raise awareness and organically increase student recruitment. This will be done by highlighting the further and higher education programmes the College has to offer for students to transition from education into land-based rewarding careers, or to further their education at degree level.
This is a unique and fantastic opportunity for someone to be involved end to end; through engaging educational partners, supporting the delivery of curricula activities at Reaseheath College, raising awareness of further and higher education programmes the College has to offer, and to support changing of the perception of the land-based sector, promoting high quality, rewarding careers.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver the School Engagement Strategy whilst successfully reaching associated targets.
- Collaborate with local and regional primary and secondary school leadership teams, education partners and agencies and local authority teams.
- Work closely with the Head of Industry Partnership and Business Growth, and the University Centre Reaseheath to develop improved employer/education links and increase student recruitment.
- Act as the conduit to bring about increased collaboration between pre 16 (and sixth form) education sector and industry.
- Produce monthly reports and analysis on school engagement activities, progress, impact.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised Management qualification.
- Recent substantial and demonstrable experience of working within the post 16 sector.
- Recent experience of working and collaborating at a senior level within the school’s sector, preferably across Cheshire & Warrington.
- Proven experience in implementing and embedding strategies within an educational setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence individuals at all levels within an organisation.

Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
