The Role:
As our HR Training & Skills Coach, you’ll work closely with apprentices, learners, and employers to deliver engaging, effective HR training programs (primarily CIPD-aligned). You’ll guide learners through their development journey, support their growth, and ensure they gain the skills and confidence to thrive in the workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and deliver engaging, effective training sessions, both in-person and online, covering HR-related topics as per the apprenticeship standards
- Deliver virtually and face to face at employers’ premises as appropriate
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to apprenticeships, offering support, guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills and competencies
- Monitor progress, provide feedback, and keep motivation high
- Ensure that all training and coaching activities meet the quality standards required by the awarding body and apprenticeship standards
- Working collaboratively with employers and internal teams to ensure outstanding learner experiences
- Comply with on programme ESFA measures, in respect of: OTJ learning, monthly activities, attendance, Tripartite reviews, BILS and Leavers.
- Ensure learners are prepared for EPA and have met the required standards to go through gateway
- Ensure learners achieve on programme progress and timely first-time achievement
- Understand safeguarding duties and ensure all learners are safe, aware of prevent and safeguarding and undertake relevant safeguarding and prevent activities
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified HR professional (CIPD Level 5 or above preferred)
- Assessor qualification (eg TAQA, CAVA,AI)
- Teaching or training qualification (eg PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed)
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or delivering training (in an apprenticeship or workplace setting a plus)
- A confident communicator who can inspire and engage
- Someone with real enthusiasm for helping others succeed
- An organised, proactive, and learner-centred mindset
