Walsall College is seeking an inspirational Chief Finance Officer to lead its financial, estates and risk management functions. You will provide strategic leadership and accountability across the College’s financial and operational activities, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the Corporation, monitoring and maintaining the College’s resilience and driving growth. Your focus will be on delivering corporate services to an exceptional standard whilst overseeing systems and processes to drive efficiencies and operational excellence.

You will be a qualified, commercially orientated accountant with a wealth of strategic finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, customer-centric, multi-stakeholder environment. You must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation, and be able to solve complex strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions at this important time of change.
