Attendance and Welfare Administrator
Advantage Schools is seeking a self-motivated and experienced administrator primarily based at The Stockwood Park Academy working closely with the Trust Education Welfare Officer and supporting the Director of Attendance and Welfare in helping to raise the level of attendance across the Trust. Attendance is a key focus and priority across the Trust and continues to improve. Recent Ofsted reports reflect the drive and passion that we have to ensure that children and young people achieve their potential.

Key Duties
Maintain precise records on Arbor/CPOMS systems; ensure information is shared accurately and appropriately.
Monitor attendance data and escalate concerns around persistent absenteeism and arrange meetings and coordinate responses to attendance/welfare issues.
Respond to parents/carers queries to initially discuss concerns regarding attendance, identify potential barriers, and signpost possible support avenues.
Prepare paperwork for attendance reviews, parent meetings, academy attendance meetings and other key procedures relating to attendance and pupil welfare
Diarise and schedule meetings for the Director of Attendance and Welfare, ensuring efficient calendar management.
Assist in completing agency referrals and liaise with relevant teams for follow-up of actions.
The ideal candidate will
Be an experienced administrator with great organisational and time management skills
Have prior experience of working confidentially within a related field such as education, social care, or health professions.
Have excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail particularly with reports/letters/communication.
Be able to work professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Have strong IT skills, specifically Microsoft word and Excel
Maintain a positive attitude, be resilient and able to stay calm under pressure with ability to make informed decisions.
Be dedicated to improving life chances for young people.
Be willing to undertake any training relevant to the role.
Job specifics
Start Date Monday 23rd June 2025
Salary AS 9-14 FTE £26,709-£28,924 actual pro rata £24,366-£26,387
Job Role Permanent, Full time, Term time + INSET days plus 2 weeks, 41 weeks per year
Working Hours 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3:30pm Fridays.
