Salary: £27,146.00 – £37,795.00 per annum (salary points 27-38)

Calderdale College is looking to recruit an outstanding individual who is enthusiastic and skilled in the area of computing. This fantastic opportunity will allow you to work with a passionate team which delivers computing qualifications up to A-level standard. We are looking for candidates who may or may not be qualified teachers, as we would support you to develop your teaching practice.

 

You will work on delivering the computing curriculum to the next generation, in partnership with a number of major innovative employers in the computer arena. You will inspire this next generation of future computing experts by building and developing imaginative learning sessions to pass on your own computing knowledge.

 

The successful candidate will be adaptable and learner focused with a strong ambition to see learners succeed. You will have the capability to deliver learning on level three computing courses. In particular we are looking for someone with the skills to deliver one or more of the following: Software Development, Cyber Security or Networking and knowledge of Agile working.

 

This role requires someone who is a dynamic, innovative and creative individual with the ability to influence and motivate students and determination to achieve success in all aspects of the role.

 

This role is full time but we are able to offer a fractional post to the successful candidate.

 

The successful candidate can also apply for the Targeted Retention Incentive payment which ranges from £3,000 – £6,000.
