Chief Executive Officer

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic CEO to guide The Skylark Partnership Trust through a period of transition, and to secure continued financial sustainability and excellent educational standards for the long-term.
Who we are.
Skylark Partnership was founded in 2017 through Northampton Hospital Outreach Education. Our mission is to provide first-class education, specifically to students with health conditions that prevent them from entering mainstream education. As a national trust, we believe in supporting and empowering school leaders to provide education to our students within their local contexts. The purpose of the trust is to foster collaboration between hospital-education schools, providing strategic guidance and operational support to the schools within the trust so that they can support their pupils to thrive.
About the role.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Skylark Partnership Trust, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across our settings and enhancing opportunities for all students. This role requires someone who can inspire and empower staff, students and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high academic standards and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the Trust.
You will drive our strategic priorities, supporting the heads of schools to deliver exceptional educational outcomes, working with the Chief Financial Officer to develop financial resilience and enhancing collaboration between all components of the Trust and the schools that sit within it.
Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trust, managing senior leadership teams, and ensuring that all schools within the Trust are operating effectively and in line with statutory regulations. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, Local Academy Boards, and school leaders to implement demanding curricula and ensure continuous school improvement. You will also oversee school performance, drive financial efficiency, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
You will also be responsible for representing the Trust externally, building relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, local authorities, educational partners and national bodies. It will be your duty to raise the profile of The Skylark Partnership Trust within the local community and at a national level, ensuring that the Trust’s voice is heard and its mission is advanced.
Peridot Partners and The Skylark Partnership Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and our client expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references before any final offer can be made.
