Tenbury High Ormiston Academy is a truly unique, small, rural 11-16 academy in the beautiful setting of North-West Worcestershire. It is part of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) which is one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England. We invest in our pupils and our staff to ensure all are supported to be the best they can be. In a very recent Ofsted inspection, inspectors described our pupils as confident, polite and pleasant. Inspectors recognised leaders were ambitious in all aspects of school improvement and have led and embedded significant and impressive change across all aspects of school life.
We are currently looking to appoint three reliable and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators on a casual basis for the forthcoming GCSE exam series.
The role will involve:
- Providing professional exam invigilation support and perform all necessary tasks as requested by the Exams Officer. Undertake a full range of duties to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Academy exams
- Responsible for maintaining candidate attendance and absence records.
- Assist in the preparation and set up of exam rooms
- Invigilate the examination, including dealing with examination irregularities
- Assist in the preparation and set up of exam rooms.
- Understand and adheres to exam regulations
- Adheres to the school’s behaviour management and safeguarding policies and other relevant policies.
- May demonstrate own duties to new or less experienced staff.
- Communicate examination procedures to pupils and oversee behaviour.
- Respond to pupil requests during the examination.
- Escort candidates from the location during the examination.
- Interprets information and situations and solves straight forward problems and makes minor decisions
Online training is required prior to exams.
